How to use the book:
Wherever you are in your Bible reading journey, there’s a chance that you could at some point hit a wall. You feel you can’t go any further. As I’ve shared before, you don’t need to feel guilt or shame when Bible reading gets hard. We instead ask the Lord for the grace and strength to keep going and for Him to give us understanding. But I also think that we can add a few tools in our belt to help us.
Here are some practical ideas to keep you in the Word:
1. Listen to the Bible
There are many apps to help you listen to the Word. I like to listen as I take an afternoon walk or as I head to bed.
2. Read with Others
Bible reading doesn’t have to be done in isolation. You can ask a small group or friend to keep you accountable. You can read with your family or roommates. Get creative and enjoy Bible reading together.
3. Read whenever you want
That statement seems obvious but often, because we are creatures of habit, if we miss our designated Bible reading time, we think we have “missed a day.” For example, if you wake up late and your Bible reading time is typically in the morning, go ahead and read in the afternoon. It’s, of course, okay to miss a day! But don’t let a designated time become a rule. Read whenever you want to.
4. Study the Bible
52 Weeks in the Word has a built-in rest day that’s perfect for deeper reading and Bible study. Use that day to go back and study God’s Word.

I love the Bible and using the companion book you have written 52 Weeks in the Word. I’ve used it 2 years. Are you aware the PDF of the April reading plan sent in the email is wrong. It does not match the book. I use the PDF and had to adapt last months because it was off also. Hoping you can edit and send out again. God bless you! I love what you do.
